Gays In The Army

I want to talk about the fact that Obama has gotten rid of the “dont ask, don’t tell” part of being in the army. I think this was a great decision, as it shouldn’t matter what your sexual preference is. The main goal of the army is to fight for our country, and there’s no part of the job description that requires you to be straight. I never understood why that would even be a factor when it comes to who’s allowed to fight for our country. I always thought the rule about not saying that you were gay was actually a slap in the face to anyone who is gay. It’s like saying that they are ashamed to admit that they are gay, and there is no reason to feel this way.
Girlfriend helps boyfriend move

My girlfriend is probably the best girlfriend a guy could ever get. Last month I found out I was being transferred to Texas. While I was excited, I knew I was going to miss my girlfriend. When I told her, she was very supportive and even offered to help me with the move. So far she has been wonderful. She found me a wonderful apartment and I love it. I don’t think I would have ever found something that nice at such a great price. She even went to www.texaselectricityproviders.com/ and scheduled my installation. Last night we packed up my current apartment into boxes. She had every box labeled and organized. She said it would make it a lot easier to unpack. I do not know what I would have done without her and I am so glad she has been here to help me. I am one lucky guy! I don’t want to lose her and hope she will one day come to Texas with me. I guess we should have “the talk”.
Gay Marriage In Washington

The time has finally come, and gay marriages have become legal in several states. Many of these states may be far away from you, and you may have to even travel far away just to get married. Well you are in luck if you are looking to get married,and you live in or near Washington. It’s been said that the Governor of Washington is going to sign the legislation to legalize gay marriage on Monday. We’ve been waiting a long time for this, and it is truly good news. Unfortunately we will have to wait until June to actually have it be effective, but considering how long we’ve waited, I think we can wait a little bit longer.
Hot Spots For Gays
Published January 27, 2012 | There are many places that gays can go to have a good time, all around the country. There are actually so many different places, but I’m going to stick to two areas and talk about what you can do there.
I’m going to focus on San Diego first. This is the place where I found so many gay bars, and many of them are actually decent. Hillcrest is the place to go if you are looking for the typical town for restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, etc. I would strongly recommend this area of San Diego if you either live in the area or are thinking of vacation spots.
As a whole, I wouldn’t strongly suggest Las Vegas as the go to place for gays. Many of the places and people just don’t seem gay friendly, but I guess if you live in the area there are places that can be worth a shot to go to.
If you do decide to go out in the Las Vegas Area, I would suggest Charlies. It’s been said that they have very good locking guys, and of course that’s always a plus. Free Zone is another place that is decent. Just a little heads up: the place dosen’t look that great from the outside, but the inside will surprise you.
Doing some unique gift wrapping for the holidays this year

There are all kinds of little special things that I like to do for the holidays. I make lots of crafts, including crafts that I can use as decorations around my home. But I’m always on the look out for something else a little special. While I was looking online to see what I could find to do new for this year, I ran across some ideas about making your own wrapping paper and decided to do that.
While I was online getting a little more specific info about some gift wrapping inspiration, I ran across some info on HVAC. We could use a replacement system in our household, so I decided to order it to be installed from that website.
I did come up with some pretty good unique gift wrapping ideas and already the gifts that I’ve given to my coworkers have been a pretty big hit because of all the special wrapping! I do think that I’ve done a pretty good job of it myself. I’ll have to do this next year too.
Santorum Speaks Out Against Gay Marriage in New Hampshire
Published January 5, 2012 | They say, “Live free or die” in the state of New Hampshire. Santorum doesn’t see it that way. His hands-on approach to denying gays their right to marriage shows clearly through his conservative agenda. The man is a card-carrying NRA member is looking to challenge Mitt Romney in the GOP battle of the decade as the election draws nearer. Defensively, Santorum spoke out against gay marriage to a gay-friendly crowd, comparing it to polygamy.
Gay Marriage in Washington State?
Published November 13, 2011 | Washington may become the seventh state t legalize same-sex marriage. Several gay-rights groups, including a handful of religious organizations have put pressure on the legislature to pass a law in 2012 to enable marriage equality. Senator Ed Murray is openly gay and believes they will have enough votes to pass. Conservative Senator Dan Swecker is against the motion, saying that it will open the door to “other alternatives.” What does he mean? Animals?

Now that Grand Praire Texas can get Ambit Power I’ve switched us over and hopefully my husband can get off my back about spending too much money on utilities. We decided a long time ago that I was in charge of all the house related stuff and that means paying the bills, too, although he just funds the money into the checking account. I don’t know why he needs to stick his nose in everything so much but he needs to just chill out – I can’t tell you how many fights I’ve had with him trying to tell me how to do things better or that I’m not doing them the right way. I’m like, do you want me to be in charge of this or not? Anyway, enough of my soapbox, but I’m just sick to death of him really making me nutty – there’s something to be said for having your own space and having your spouse trust you to do a good job with it. That’s how I feel about all this home stuff.
Gay Africans Seek Haven
Published October 29, 2011 | The parliament in Uganda seeks capital punishment for people who engage in homosexual acts. There is suspicion that this anti-gay mindset has its root in the teachings of U.S. evangelical groups. Uganda has received international attention, but it is not the only African nation with anti-gay laws. This may lead to more LGBT people seeking refuge in other countries, including the United States, if the international community doesn’t put pressure on Uganda and other African countries. Oddly, The United Nations and the U.S. State Department do not track whether refugees are displaced due to sexual orientation.
Gay Veteran Re-enlisting
Published October 25, 2011 | Lee Reinhart of Chicago served in the Navy for four years, followed by three years in the Coast Guard. He was discharged from the Coast Guard in 2002 for being open about being gay. After last month’s repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell,” Reinhardt has decided to enlist in the Navy Reserve.
Reinhart has been very vocal about repealing DADT after being ousted from the Coast Guard. Someone has finally heard his voice and listened. Reinhart is just one of many thousand of men and women who are affected by this change in a very positive way.
