Gays In The Army

I want to talk about the fact that Obama has gotten rid of the “dont ask, don’t tell” part of being in the army. I think this was a great decision, as it shouldn’t matter what your sexual preference is. The main goal of the army is to fight for our country, and there’s no part of the job description that requires you to be straight. I never understood why that would even be a factor when it comes to who’s allowed to fight for our country. I always thought the rule about not saying that you were gay was actually a slap in the face to anyone who is gay. It’s like saying that they are ashamed to admit that they are gay, and there is no reason to feel this way.

My girlfriend is probably the best girlfriend a guy could ever get. Last month I found out I was being transferred to Texas. While I was excited, I knew I was going to miss my girlfriend. Gay Marriage In Washington

The time has finally come, and gay marriages have become legal in several states. Many of these states may be far away from you, and you may have to even travel far away just to get married. Well you are in luck if you are looking to get married,and you live in or near Washington. It’s been said that the Governor of Washington is going to sign the legislation to legalize gay marriage on Monday. We’ve been waiting a long time for this, and it is truly good news. Unfortunately we will have to wait until June to actually have it be effective, but considering how long we’ve waited, I think we can wait a little bit longer.
